Preparing for Spain

I'm heading off to Spain for two months, May 6 - July 10. I will be using this blog to record my thoughts on living in Spain and being completely immersed in the language and the culture as well as to log my travels. While I am in Spain, I am only allowed to speak Spanish. I will be writing my blog in Spanish, but will provide a translation in English. I will be living in a homestay with a family in Madrid and taking two classes with other Pepperdine students at Universidad de Nebrija. On the weekends, I will be traveling with my classmates to Barcelona, El Escorial, Toledo, Segovia, and Sevilla as well as travel in smaller groups around Spain and Portugal on our own.
